at the FFA Enrichment Center, Ankeny, IA

Registration is from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.  Registration fee is $15.00 per person.
Conference will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Lunch will be served by the DeWitt Central FFA Alumni

Remember to bring items for the silent and live auction.
We will have the basket contest of People's Choice and President's Choice.

IOWA FFA ALUMNI PROPOSED BYLAW CHANGE
being proposed for the 2012 Iowa FFA Alumni Conference


RESOLUTION #1 – Associate Membership

Rationale: Whereas, the National FFA Alumni has implemented a new category of Membership called Associate Membership;
Therefore, be it resolved that the Iowa FFA Alumni Board of Directors wishes to submit the following Resolution for consideration by the members of the Iowa FFA Alumni Association.

Article IV Membership
Section II Types of Membership
A Associate Membership
1. Is a no cost state and national membership that is provided to potential members annually.
2. Associate Membership will entitle the member to quarterly information from the Iowa and National FFA Alumni Associations.
3. Associate Members will not be included in membership or awards programs.
4. There will be a five year limit on the associate membership.

B Annual Membership
1. Strikeout “there are no associate, honorary, privileged, or lesser classes of membership.”

Resolution presented by Iowa FFA Alumni Board of Directors
Bylaws and Resolutions Committee recommends adoption.
Iowa FFA Alumni Association Board of Directors recommends adoption.
Recommended adoption date of January 21, 2012.

            Local Affiliates Need to Register

Administrative Rights in New Membership System Spring 2012, National FFA Alumni will be moving their membership rosters to an online format.  Ensure that local and state FFA Alumni leaders who handle current membership submissions, dues collection and payment for state and national dues have the appropriate administrative rights in the new online system by registering the 2-3 key contacts responsible for Alumni membership.  Please click on the appropriate link below to register your local or state contacts.  Each of these individuals will need a valid email address.  Please contact the National FFA Alumni office with any questions at alumni@ffa.org or (317) 802-4332.
